Session 1: Assertiveness and Boundaries
We all know there is a line of behaviour – at one end is the passive and the other end is aggressive, in the middle is the sweet spot of assertiveness. When we are being assertive, we can get our needs met, we can be true to ourselves and authentic. Learn how to identify and value your boundaries and be more assertive.
Session 2: Assertiveness and Confidence
In this session we will look at boosting assertiveness through increasing self-confidence. We will be understanding our values and our strengths, so that we can disagree with people when we need to, but still stay friends (if we wish). You will learn useful tools, phrases and techniques to stay assertively in your power.
Session 3: Assertiveness and Dealing with Difficult People
Sometimes we have to deal with difficult people. They may be someone in authority, a friend, and neighbour, but knowing you have to communicate can fill you with dread. well dread no more! This workshop gives you tools and techniques to value and support your own needs, and take heat out of conversations you would rather not be having.
